VTG French Chateau, Road, Train, and Metro Maps Lot of 6: Circa 1940-1960s, 1944
You are bidding on a collection of maps/documents that we believed my Father-In-Law brought back while stationed in France 1944 or after returning state side.
It is difficult for me to confirm dates as the maps have none that I can find.  All maps indicate they were published in France by Travel Ministry.   My Father-In-Law was in France only during WW II but it is possible someone may have made more current maps available to him. So, I am indicating that these vintage maps/documents are circa 1940s-1960s.
He clearly planned a trip to Fontainebleau while in France 1944 based on items I have in other auctions.
Maps are generally in very good shape.  Little wear and tear except when noted in descriptions below.  Documents are more worn.
Also, apparently my Father-In-Law was big on tape (I knew he loved duct tape) and tape remnants/staining are present.
A Map Chateaux:  Likely from the 60s.  Has a tear on fold between two panels.  Please see pictures.
Road Map General Map Maps of Paris - Information.  Since no date present, I would assume 60s.
Motoring in France: 60s or 50s - I believe there is notation for map images possibly MF Pointeav 52(?)
Map of France French National Railroads:  50s or 60s
Fountainbleau One Hour from Paris Edited by the Syndicat d'initiative:  1944. Well-worn with tape tears.
