    Description

    Hi All,
Selling off more of the collection. Today we have a Robeson Suredge their number 332433. In their system of  cataloging.  First number 3 is for polished black composition, second is a 3 equals number of blades, third is a 2 a brass Linder bolster, forth fifth and sixth numbers are 433 stockman. Main blade is 2.5 inches long closed the knife is 3 5/8 inches long.
This one was made around 1950 per the tang stamp also notice the groove on the bolsters. This was absent in the later models. The grove on the bolsters was a common attribute to a lot of knives in the first half of last century. As
    foreign
knives started to appear on the US market that grove was one of the first things to go to save money.
Picked this up a while back collected some of their knives and was impressed with the quality of the older ones. This a very nice pocket knife, with very little use, from a company that is no longer in
    business
. If you have any questions or need more pictures let me know I will oblige.
Look at the pictures they are a better description than I can give. Truly is a nice knife.
    USA shipping only.
A little bit about me. I am a Blade Smith and have been for the last 16 years. My own work can be seen on the Arizona Custom Knives web site. Go to makers and look me up under Kenneth Hills or cut and paste this to your browser.   https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/knives-by-maker/hills-kenneth/    I also do a lot of custom work for people. I bring this up because as I collected these I always go over them remove any flaking chrome or rust, clean and oil all the pivots apply Renaissance wax to the surfaces. In General bring the knife back to as close to original as it allows.
Enjoy the auction and check out my other auctions for more unusual knives.  Thanks, Ken
