Use on 4900/4910 Genuine Epson INK cartridges to RE-SET to FULL.  Once the original ink cartridge has only 15-20% ink life left, refill with your own ink and reset the micro-chip.  The printer will then read it as a new full ink cartridge.
NOTE/WARNING:
You MUST refill and reset the ink cartridge
BEFORE
it reads "empty".
Once the printer reads the cart as 'empty', it will lock the micro-chip and you will not be able to reset it or reinsert into the printer.
If you are using "non-refillable" OEM Epson ink cartridges, we have large syringes (60cc) with special "ink needle tip", that you can use to inject/refill the ink into the cartridge thru the ball valve.  Simply pour ink into a wide mouth jar, fill syringe thru special tip, then push into ball valve and inject ink into cartridge.
Sometimes it gets a little messy if you don't know how much to inject.  So weigh a new cartridge and compare to partial cartridge to see how much to fill the syringe.
Ink weighs
approximately
1 gram per cc/ml.  So if you have a used ink cartridge that weighs 100 grams less than a full, new cartridge, then add 100cc's of ink.  If you don't have a gram scale, 1 oz = 28.4 grams, or 1 gram = .035274 oz
